League of Legends’ Lucian, the Purifier Revealed

Staying true to churning out champions after champions, the next addition to the champion roster of League of  Legends will be none other than Lucian, the Purifier. Wielding weapons imbued with an ancient power, Lucian is armed with a double-attack passive, gap closer and AOE attacks, making him a highly mobile, ranged AD carry champion.

While it still remains to be seen if Lucian will be a strong pick for the bottom lane, there is little doubt that this champion can be a real slick and aggressive one – especially when coupled with supports like Nunu  or Blitzcrank.

Garena League of Legends teases new Champion: Aatrox, the Darkin Blade

Garena League of Legends has released new information on the next addition to the ranks of Champions in League of Legends. Enter Aatrox, the Darkin Blade, a melee and auto-attack dependent Champion whose abilities will cost health instead of the usual mana or energy.

The decision to use health as an expendable resource like mana or energy is not new – having being utilised in Champions like Valdimir and Mordekaiser – but ideally, it should bring greater depth and tactics to the game.

Razer Goliathus League of Legends Mousepad Review

League of Legends is not only invading our lives – the game has, reportedly, 12 million daily players with more than 1 billion hours of the game being played monthly – but the gaming peripherals from Razer that many have grown to love. League of Legends fans will have much to cheer about as Razer, in a partnership with Riot Games, releases two new League of Legends-themed peripherals – the League of Legends Edition Razer Goliathus and the League of Legends Edition Naga Hex Gaming Mouse. The decision to League of Legends-dise the Razer Goliathus is a smart decision as the Goliathus is arguably one of Razer’s best mousepad.

Design & Quality

The League of Legends Goliathus is loud. Die-hard League of Legends players and fans will love that every facet of the League of Legends Razer Goliathus screams of League of Legends. For this edition of the Goliathus, Razer has taken a rare step out of its dominantly tri-coloured world of green, black and white. Instead, Razer has beautifully splashed all sorts of colours to depict a battle between some of League of Legends’ popular Champions such as Jarvan IV, Miss Fortune and Renekton, thereby creating a visually appealing mousepad. The League of Legends Razer Goliathus is a peripheral sure to announce your love of the game.

Visuals aside, this iteration of the Razer Goliathus employs a high quality of workmanship and material. The cloth is evenly woven with no obvious bumps, providing a smooth surface. The edges of the Goliathus is stitched up, preventing the edges from fraying after long periods of use. The bottom of the Goliathus is made of non-slip rubber that makes sure your mousepad does not fly around your table during those intense gaming sessions. On top of it’s workmanship, the Goliathus is light and rollable, making it easy and feasible to bring it to a LAN party.

Performance

The Goliathus performs admirably and to what is expected of a gaming peripheral. During my Goliathus play-testing sessions (playing League of Legends of course!), the mousepad did not slip and remained sturdily in position while managing to be comfortable to my arm and wrist. Tracking was good regardless of whether I was swiping my mouse or making small adjustments.

Overall, League of Legends Golitahus Collector’s Edition performs well. League of Legends fans be sure to grab one of these as nothing else is going to announce your love of the League more than the Razer Goliathus’ bright design… well except the League of Legends Razer Naga Hex.
